I began mushing in 2001, when my Siberian Husky, Cali reached one year of age. Living in the city, I began with a generic harness, leash and skateboard. After learning about skijoring, I’ve upgraded my gear to include a skijor belt, bungee-leash, and X-back harness. Coupled with a pair of cross-country skis in the winter, and a skateboard in the summer, I’ve been taking my mushing experience to a whole new level. Cali is a fully trained gee-haw Siberian husky – who loves nothing more than to run and pull. When he’s not dragging me around, he enjoys running ahead of 4-wheelers through the woods and lazing around the house. Though he has no papers, I am interested in breeding Cali with another female and keeping a pup. If you’d like to know more, please contact me.
